Learn the craft of silver jewellery making with Aimi Cairns jewellery making classes in Aberdeenshire. Classes are suitable for beginners with all tools and materials provided and full demonstration and guidance given on the day.
WHAT CLASSES DO YOU OFFER
Sea glass bangle workshop: Transform a piece of sea glass into a silver charm for your own handmade bangle in this 4-5 hour workshop. We will create an open backed setting for the sea glass and you will learn to measure, solder, file and finish your very own unique creation.
Silver ring workshop: Make a silver ring in this fun 2 hour pop-up jewellery class. An excellent introduction to making silver jewellery, you will learn to measure, cut, texture, solder, file and finish your very own unique sterling silver ring. We’ll be using a variety of hand tools, hammers and blow torches for soldering.
Stacking Rings: Make 3 slim sterling silver rings to stack together, either matching or with different textures to finish each ring in this 2 hour class.
Necklace workshop: In this 2 hour workshop we will make a pendant of interlinked rings. You can choose the size and number of links to make a meaningful piece of jewellery. On the day you will learn to measure, cut, texture, solder, file and finish your very own unique necklace.
Make a silver bangle: Make your very own solid sterling silver bangle to your perfect size in this 2 hour class. Learn to measure, cut, texture, solder, file and finish your very own unique piece of jewellery.
Stacking Bangles: Make 3 slim bangles either matching or with different textures and link them together with a heart or circular ring or interlingk them all to creat a set of Russian bangles. The stacking bangle workshop lasts 3 hours.
Silver earrings workshop: Make two pairs of bespoke sterling silver earrings in this 2 hour class. You can choose your own design and make a pair of stud or dangle earrings. Full demonstration of a techniques will be given to help you complete your unique creation.
Stone set pendant workshop: My very favourite technique is setting big colourful stones. In this full day class you will learn to make a silver pendant and bezel setting and set a unique semi-precious gemstone.
Seaglass ring or pendant workshop: Choose a piece of sea glass form my huge collection and learn to make a setting from silver and creat either a ring or pendant in the day long class.
PRIVATE PARTIES
